Itinerary
Transfer from Moshi or Arusha to Materuni Village near the Kilimanjaro foothills. Begin with a guided walk through the beautiful natural scenery leading to the waterfall, passing local fruit trees including avocados, mangoes, lemons and bananas while learning about local agricultural traditions and village life. Swim in the natural pool beneath the waterfall — bring your swimsuit! Continue to the coffee plantation for a guided coffee-making experience from bean to cup with the friendly Chagga community: watching, grinding, roasting and boiling the beans together. Enjoy a traditional Chagga lunch before transferring back to your hotel.
